Laser Spine Institute - Patient Safety

Patient Safety at LSIAt Laser Spine Institute, we place the utmost priority on the safety of our patients. Our endoscopic spine procedures are the safe, effective alternative to open spine surgeries, but safety and effectiveness don’t just happen – they require dedication and hard work on our end.

We spoke to Bill Horne, the CEO of Laser Spine Institute, to find out what truly goes into making our surgical facilities the safest and most effective places to have an endoscopic spine procedure, and he highlighted two key factors – our experienced surgeons and our highly trained medical team, including nurses, anesthesiologists, and more:
“The surgeons over the past six years have performed 20,000+ spine surgeries. The repetition of doing spine surgery every day certainly gives them more experience.
“The other thing that we provide, which is a step above what requirements are for us, is we have anesthesiologists here. Where other facilities could just have CRNAs (certified registered nurse anesthetists), we go further to provide safety for our patients and give our patients care by having anesthesiologists. We also have more nurses per patient than anyone else.
