LASER SPINE INSTITUTE EMPLOYEES “THINK PINK”

The message of our blog post today is "Think Pink.” It is a statement that could only be made by an organization like Laser Spine Institute dedicated to deeply supporting and sponsoring Susan G. Komen, Race for the Cure— a charitable endeavor that has resulted in unprecedented advances in Breast Cancer prevention and treatment.

There is a greater awareness than ever about breast cancer— the news, the numbers, the profound ways in which it affects everyone touched by it.   Laser Spine Institute’s “Think Pink” initiative adds to this awareness this year by engaging our employees to volunteer, fundraise and donate to Susan G. Komen organization.  From August 2nd through October 1st, our employees will organize something fun to raise money at work, no matter how big or small, our employees really are pumped up do all that is in their power to get a step closer to beating breast cancer.

The “Think Pink” initiative reiterates our commitment to actively participate and make a difference in the community.  It speaks to our credibility and trustworthiness— who we are and what we do“Helping people rediscover a life without chronic back pain.”

“Think Pink” also delivers a message of hope and human kind.  Cancer is ugly.  Women are beautiful.   At Laser Spine Institute, our employees will help us document a journey that pays a tribute to the strength, courage, vitality and radiance of women— many of them very closed to our hearts because they are part of our families and have been touched in some way by breast cancer. We want to be timely and timeless with the help of our employees’ creativity and enthusiasm.

The “Think Pink” initiative at Laser Spine Institute will be able to raise a new awareness— The awareness of hope!  Our employees will help to raise funds for innovative world-class research to understand how breast cancer develops, leading to improved diagnosis, treatment, prevention and cure.

We would like to thank the committed employees at Laser Spine Institute that came together as a team to create the “Think Pink” initiative and who generously donated their time and talent: Phil Garcia, Kara Grammen, Jennifer Fuller, Dyan Miles and Stephanie Schnitker.

Connect with us on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube to follow the “Think Pink” journey at Laser Spine Institute.  That’s right!  There are many reasons to do it.  We will be posting regular updates on dress down days, team bake sales, car wash services, raffle tickets for prizes, race days, and much . . . much more— not to mention the surprise factor that comes along with the participation of those “incognito” employees who promise to make the “Think Pink” initiative— the latest buzz in the World Wide Web.  Don’t miss it!
