Can You Find Relief from Back Pain Like Charles Bithorn Did?
A commercial artist, illustrator, musician and singer, Charles Bithorn loves being active. This Korean War veteran is always on the go, enjoying activities like long walks, gymnastics, hand balancing, art instruction, oil painting, singing, and playing music. But 40 years of chronic pain in his back, hips, and legs from spinal arthritis, herniated discs, pinched nerves, and spinal stenosis threatened to leave Charles unable to do the things he loves. The pain and weakness from his symptoms meant he couldn’t walk, dance, or stand for long periods of time.
All that changed when Charles discovered Laser Spine Institute. After trying many unsuccessful treatments elsewhere – including pain management, chiropractor visits, medication, acupuncture, physical therapy, and even a complete hip replacement – Charles paid a visit to Laser Spine Institute’s Tampa, Florida location. Under the expert, attentive care of Dr. James St. Louis and the rest of our world-class medical team, Charles underwent one of our minimally invasive procedures. After his endoscopic surgical procedure, Charles was so pleased with the results, and so happy with the care he received from Dr. St. Louis and Laser Spine Institute, that he painted an oil portrait of Dr. St. Louis as a gift. Charles left our facility thanking the staff and felt great shortly after his procedure. He gave this advice to anyone else suffering from chronic back pain, neck pain, and other symptoms related to spine conditions and wondering if Laser Spine Institute might be able to help them – "Do it. It's the only way to go."
