Scottsdale OSC CROP 1.JPGIn December, I wrote about our new LSI location in Scottsdale, Arizona and gave you a preview of the facility features and amenities. Last week, I visited  for a couple days and I can truly say that I walked away with even greater inspiration to help more people get their lives back! It was extremely fulfilling to observe the operation, interact with patients, and hear about the impact that we have had on their lives. However, as proud as I am, I have to give the credit to all my employees.

Dr. Michael Weiss, our Chief Surgeon, and Dr. Mark Flood perform approximately 100 surgeries each month, helping patients to get their lives back, along with their team of caring nurses.  Together, they commit to delivering the best medical care and overall experience possible to our valued patients.

The Patient Financial Services department handles every aspect of the patient encounter, from pre-certification and authorization through claims processing. Our patients are assigned a patient advocate from the Patient Financial Services department to answer any questions they may have, or discuss their particular claim with an insurance carrier.  Their tenacity, customer-centric mindset and structured training make our procedures easy to understand by our patients and also account for our department's success in helping our patients to secure payment from virtually every insurance plan.  We look forward to serving you, or to answer any other questions you may have.  

David Neal is the Director of Patient Financial Services at LSI and leads the following departments: - Transcription, Coding, Patient Financial Services and Account Support & Resolution. He obtained a Master's degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Central Florida and has over 10 years experience in healthcare financial operations, working with physicians, hospitals and insurance companies. In addition, he is certified by the American Health Information Management Association as a Registered Health Information Technician.
